To Alter a Book

My first studio project of this semester: to create an altered or an artist's book. The Unknown Quantity by Henry Van Dyke, a cloth bound edition from somewhere around 1919, is my victim. Morrissey, a fishy friend.

Since the passing of Otis, I have been graced with a new friend, Morrissey. He started out as a picky little eater, I wasn't sure he was going to make it. Trend has been that I pick out the slightly diseased or ill fish -but all that aside, he is the most beautiful crowntail beta I have ever seen. He's a deep royal blue with crimson front fins, and adorable freckle-like spots. It is to be determined if Otis's love of typography carries through to Morrissey.
